The China International Import Expo (CIIE) is a six-day trade show for imported products, being held on 5-10 November this year to coincide with the 40th anniversary of the Chinese economy opening to international trade and investment.
The Expo will be co-hosted by China’s Ministry of Commerce and the Shanghai Municipal Government and is supported by Austrade, the Australia-China Business Council and the China Chamber of Commerce in Australia.
There are three major areas of the exhibition – country areas for trade and investment, enterprise and business areas and an international trade forum. For Australian businesses exhibiting, the Australian National Pavilion will serve as a focal point of Australian capability. Austrade is also offering qualified Australian companies attending support such as national branding, Australian business lounge facilities and networking help from Austrade’s China team.
Austrade is offering free webinars in early June for companies in various sectors to find out how they can be involved and what support is on offer.
