This year’s Accru Day hit the brief with a jam-packed afternoon of Firm and strategic updates, a showcase of our clients and their success and finishing off with a guest speaker sharing tips and tricks on how to become a high performer personally and professionally. 

This year’s Russell Curwood Award WINNERS have been announced. For the first time in the awards history, we have dual winners! Congratulations to Nick & Brianna!

The award stands to recognise outstanding performance or achievement incorporating the many great attributes of the late Russell Curwood such as loyalty, dedication, commitment, fantastic sense of humour and humility, appreciation, optimism, caring and happy – just to name a few!

Well done Nick and Brianna, you are both very deserving winners.

Jess & Daniel represented Accru Melbourne at the MGI Worldwide 2024 Global AGM in Rome along with some others from the Accru Network. 

Our team attended Stakes Day at Flemington Racecourse on the 9^th of November once again. Our social club organised the event and provided a BBQ and drinks with the addition of a Punters Club!

Audit team had a small get together to celebrate the end of year by holding a pool tournament at the local with the deserving winners being Pete & Prtissha!

Our wealth team spent their end of year celebrations at the park! The team spent the afternoon in the sun, having snacks and got crafty painting mugs.

On the 19^th of March, the team celebrated Christmas at the Hellenic Museum. The afternoon included reflecting on the past year and what had been achieved. A fun game of Accru trivia was competitive, but a success. 

This years Australian Association of Graduate Employment’s 2024 Recruitment and Development Conference’s theme was “Investing in and Nurturing Future-ready Talent.” 

Lachie and Amier had the opportunity to represent Accru Melbourne at the Association Leaders Symposium at the International Convention Centre in Sydney. The event is held to bring influential leaders of various industries and associations together. The convention includes insightful speeches, panel discussions and networking opportunities. 

Some of our team attended the Old Camberwell Grammarian’s Association Business Breakfast, the morning is a great opportunity to build relationships, establish networks with others in the accounting/finance, business/marketing, HR/recruitment, IT, Law and Real Estate world.

The not-for-profit organisation has been a massive help in positively influencing how our business develops into what it is now! The Victorian Chamber of Commerce and Industry has presented Accru with a certificate for our 50^th anniversary to celebrate our membership. 

The invaluable services, including training sessions, expert workplace relations advice, and access to a wide range of exciting events, have all been significant in the success of Accru. 

We are so grateful to have had the VCCI by our side throughout these years.
