First Netcrcu Awards Night!! 🏆

We celebrated Netccru’s first mixed netball season, with an Awards Night at the Auburn Hotel. The MVP award was given to Lachie Braid.

Lachie Braid flew up to Sydney to run the City2Surf with our Accru Sydney colleagues.

At Accru Melbourne, we live by our core value – “We Care About You.” We prioritise the health and wellbeing of both our employees and clients. Demonstrating this commitment, 13 dedicated volunteers recently completed First Aid & CPR training, becoming our official Accru First Aid Officers. During this training, they learned essential skills such as performing CPR, managing choking incidents, treating burns, addressing fractures, and much more.

For our BAS team celebration they donate our time and manpower to benefit charity in a team challenge facilitated by Corporate Challenge Events called “Fill It” where they were given a budget and were challenged to fill a trailer with goods for the Lighthouse Foundation. The Lighthouse Foundation is a charity that supports young people who are experiencing homelessness or trauma. 

Congratulations to the winning team, and to everyone for doing their bit to help those in need.

 At our recent Wealth Management team celebration, we got out in the sunshine and split into groups to play a game of “Who Am I?” We guessed which childhood fun fact and baby photo matched each of our team members. A great way to discover some amusing secrets about our colleagues’ and see what they looked like in their early years!

Megan, one of our senior accountants, represented Accru Melbourne at Swinburne University’s “International Student Industry & Alumni Speed Networking: Preparing for Graduate Employment”.

Megan engaged with small groups of 5-10 students, addressing numerous inquiries about the Australian workplace and offering guidance on how they can best prepare for success while at university. She shared her industry and professional expertise, contributing to the development of skills essential for the student’s future careers.

Representing Accru as industry leaders, Fin, Natarsha and Amier attended Swinburne’s Industry Connect: Accounting and Finance Career Expo. Sharing insights and networking with our future accounting and finance recruits.

Jordan, his partner Gemma and big sister Clara welcome a baby girl Elodie Lyra to their family.

Accru Melbourne are proud supporters of RULE Prostate Cancer. A group of Accru staff and clients attended the E.J. Whitten Grand Final Legends Lunch enjoying a fantastic afternoon for a great cause.
