Andrew Lane 45-year work anniversary
Congratulations Andrew Lane on his incredible 45-year work anniversary!
Reaching a 45-year milestone with Accru is an extraordinary achievement, and we want to take this moment to express our deepest gratitude for his leadership, vision, and dedication over the years. His unwavering commitment and ability to inspire those around him have been key drivers of our success. Leading with passion, integrity, and a clear sense of purpose, shaping the firm into what it is today.
Since joining the firm as an undergraduate in 1980, straight out of Camberwell Grammer School, a lot has changed in the last 45 years. From the offices of Danby Bland Provan at Shakespeare Terrace on Punt Road Richmond, to St Kilda Road, to 123 then 50 Camberwell Road, Hawthorn East. Andrew has seen the practice evolve from the days of manual cash books and audit files, no computers or mobile phones, typewriters, secretaries, smoking at your desk and instant coffee from the office ‘café bar’.
Andrew, we thank you for your exceptional contributions to Accru. The impact of your leadership has been immeasurable, and we are incredibly fortunate to have had you guiding us through so many milestones. We couldn’t have reached this point without you and we’re so grateful to have you as part of our team!

Bec is the Campaign Director for Fight MND, and her story, alongside the incredible work the Daniher family is doing to raise awareness and funds for motor neuron disease left everyone motivated and empowered.
A huge thank you to those who donated and supported the fundraising efforts for the Fight MND Foundation.

Annual Firm Retreat
Accru Melbourne had their annual retreat at the Werribee Mansion this year, the day was dedicated to growth, connection and performance.
The morning started with firm updates, celebrating our successes and reinforcing our values, followed by an inspiring session of high-performing teams. It was a great opportunity to reflect on our journey, strengthen our shared values, and explore how we can grow together, as a firm.

After the morning of reflection and strategy, we took our team building out to Werribee Zoo! The amazing safari tour, where the team got up close with the incredible wildlife. Then, we put our collaboration and problem-solving skills to test in a challenge – navigating our way through the zoo together.

After a day of strategy, teamwork and adventure, we wrapped up the annual firm retreat with a themed dinner ‘Iconic Performers’ at Werribee Mansion!
