Over the past decade, thanks to our generous clients and staff, Accru Felsers has raised over $100,000 for various charities through our annual Melbourne Cup function. Last year, we chose to support the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Transplant Unit as it’s a cause close to our hearts – one of our team mates, Ben, suffers from kidney failure.
Ben has been an inspiration to our team with his positive ‘can-do’ attitude to his work at Accru Felsers while dealing with the stresses of daily dialysis and searching for a kidney donor.
For Accru Felsers staff, sharing Ben’s journey in our own small way has highlighted the importance of agreeing to organ donation on your drivers licence. It has also highlighted the amazing work and dedication of our world-class surgeons and medical teams which enables most people to lead full and long lives following a transplant.
