ACCRU FELSERS

On the 27th February Accru hosted the AHK Australian Sydney 2025 New Year Reception in February aboard the James Craig Tall Ship. The evening was filled with fantastic company and breathtaking views of the Sydney Harbour. It was the perfect opportunity to connect with fellow members and industry leaders, setting the stage for a prosperous year ahead.

Celebrating 42 years at Accru Felsers! From all of us at Accru, a huge thank you for your dedication and hard work. You’ve truly been a cornerstone of our team, and we look forward to many more amazing years to come.

We are proud to announce that our very own Steven Zabeti achieved the prestigious designation of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CA ANZ) Fellow in 2024!As well as celebrating his 30^-year anniversary with Accru!! Steven is an instrumental part of this company, and we want to extend a huge congratulations and thank you to Steven for his continuous commitment and hard work in everything he does.

We recently enjoyed a fantastic day at our Annual Lawn Bowls Event, and what a day it was!

It was a perfect opportunity to step outside, have some fun, and bond with colleagues in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Teams were formed, the competition was fierce (but friendly!), and plenty of laughs were shared throughout the day. 

This was a great social afternoon to mark the end of the month, where everyone got into the team spirit with fancy dress and bowls.

On 20^th March we held an exciting morning tea in celebration of Jake’s baby shower!

It was a wonderful time for all of us to come together and show our love and support for Jake as he and his wife prepare for their new arrival.

In honor of International Women’s Day 2025 we firstly celebrated with a morning tea in the office where everyone was able to chat and enjoy some lovely cupcakes.

And on the 11^th March a group from Accru attended the Business Chicks International Women’s Day breakfast and talk, where Rebecca and Jean were both honored to host.

This was a day that we were delighted to celebrate here at Accru Felsers, and we are proud to have a team that champions diversity, fosters innovation, and empowers each other to succeed.

Last week we had the pleasure of attending the Accounting Students Association Careers Fair at Macquarie University.

It was great to meet so many talented students eager to explore opportunities in the accounting world. We loved sharing insights into life at Accru Felsers, discussing career pathways, and offering advice on the accounting industry. Jake is also a Macquarie University alumnus, and during the event he was able to give a talk to the students directly and provide insights into his career journey and what led him to Accru.
