Culture & Values
Our culture
“Friendly, professional and fun...”
… is how our staff describe our culture*… and the majority agree that we prioritise a very good work life balance. If people enjoy what they're doing, they do it better, so we work hard to make each day challenging and rewarding - and fun as well.
According to our staff, colleagues are "very friendly" and we are “generally a young crowd who get along really well.” As one staff member says “At Accru you’re not just a number – everyone knows your name and helps you out if you need them to”. Others say “Accru has been really supportive of all my study, giving me time off during the week and for exams” "There are lots of social functions” and “the atmosphere is awesome.” **
Open communication, trust and truth, fairness, flexibility and empowerment are all fundamental to our culture. We continually seek to engage our employees and broaden their experiences.

Our values
Our culture is built on three simple values - support our clients, support our staff and support our community. We continually put these into practice by encouraging:
- People with a passion for enhancing our clients’ businesses, helping them succeed and delivering excellence all they do.
- Individual growth, by making the most of professional and personal development opportunities.
- Good relationships built on open communication, mutual respect and personal accountability for results.
- High performance and recognising and rewarding team members.
- Diversity in people, skills and ideas especially when they come together to create winning solutions for clients.
- Giving back to the communities in which we live and work and minimizing our impact on the environment.
