Our Financial Planning arm, Accru Financial Planning (AFP) has extensive experience helping people take control of their wealth creation. AFP offers independent professional advice on personal wealth creation plans and specialises in a comprehensive range of services including Portfolio Management, Wealth Creation, Self Managed Superannuation Funds, Risk Insurance and Lending & Leasing.
An opportunity exists for an energetic, motivated and enthusiastic Team Assistant to provide assistance to the Financial Planning team and PA assistance to the Partner who has primary responsibility for our Financial Planning and Superannuation areas of the firm. The role will include a PA element of providing organisational and administrative support to the Partner, managing the Partners appointments, emails, correspondence, travel and other associated needs, producing documents, briefing papers, reports and presentations, carrying out specific projects and research as required. The role will include maintenance of our client database and files, and developing and maintaining relationships with our well established client base.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within a financial services or professional services environment. You will be familiar with accessing the ATO portal and the ASIC processes for downloading annual returns and other relevant reports and documentation.
You will be a team player, who is adaptable and has the ability to work with differing personalities and working styles, whilst still providing first class customer service to clients and staff alike.
To be successful, you must have previous administration experience, preferably gained within the accounting, financial or banking industry. You will take pride in being a mature professional with a strong client service focus, and a proactive, can do attitude. Furthermore you will work well under pressure whilst still paying close attention to detail and remaining calm and retaining a sense of humour. You will have excellent English verbal and written communication skills along with outstanding organisational capability, time management and problem solving skills.
