This is a newly created, hybrid role, and a fantastic opportunity for an energetic, motivated and enthusiastic ‘Team Assistant’ who is seeking variety and a new challenge. Working closely with the Audit team your primary responsibility will be to provide administrative support to the Audit team and its Partners. Working closely with a Senior Partner you will be responsible for answering and directing telephone calls, diary management, drafting emails and correspondence, filing and a range of other general administrative duties for the Audit team.
This role also involves corporate secretarial work and experience in this area or within the legal environment, would be an advantage. This involves:
- Administration of ASIC compliance
- Annual statements
- Administration of set up of new companies
- Registration of ABN/TFN/GST
Working closely with the Partner responsible for Marketing you will also become involved in the firm’s marketing programs, and take responsibility for coordinating e-newsletters, updating website information, and other administration and ad hoc marketing duties as required.

Your experience and attributes
To be successful in this role, you must have previous administrative experience preferably within a professional services firm or accounting environment. You will take pride in being a professional with strong administrative, client service and computer skills. Furthermore, you will work well under pressure whilst still paying attention to detail and keeping calm and retaining a sense of humour. You will have excellent English verbal and written communication skills. Outstanding organisational capability, time management and problem-solving skills will be required.
The ideal candidate will be a team player, who is happy to be part of the broader business and assist with relief reception coverage, answering telephones, etc. You will be adaptable and have the ability to work with differing personalities and working styles, whilst providing first class customer service to clients and staff alike.
Experience with MS Office applications, and Business Administration qualifications will be considered favorably.
