We have an opportunity for an intermediate/senior Accountant to join our busy Business Services and Management Accounting team to ensure the professional, timely and accurate completion of financial reports and tax compliance returns for a diverse range of clients across multiple industries. This role has a focus on Self Managed Superannuation Funds so would suit someone who has an interest in developing their expertise within this area.
The role will also include strong elements of Business and Tax Advisory, along with some exposure to management accounting work. You will work closely with the Partners and Supervisors as well as provide guidance to our undergraduate and junior accountants.
To be considered for this role you must be an Accounting graduate, with at least 2-3 years’ experience, ideally working within a chartered accounting firm, preferably in a Business Services environment. You will have completed or be part way through the Charted Accountant program, have experience in working with Self Managed Superannuation Funds, and enjoy the advisory component of your role. Furthermore, you will have solid technical and analytical abilities, with a high attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines. You will have a professional approach to work and enjoy interacting with clients and working as part of a small close-knit team.
Good skills with Microsoft Office applications are required, and a working knowledge of APS, Xero and/or MYOB will be considered favourably.
