An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior level Auditor to join our busy Audit team. Working within a small, fast paced team environment you will work with a diverse range of clients across different industries both in our office and off-site.
Responsibilities will include assisting in the completion of interim and final audits by:
- Identifying and gathering required information
- Preparation of all financial statements to review stage
- Carrying out audit testing to help assess clients’ internal controls
You will also be involved in some accounting, tax calculation, tax return and financial report preparation assignments.
Your role as a Senior Auditor will see you working on multiple engagements to ensure professional and timely completion of the assignments. You will work closely with the Audit Partners, as well as provide guidance to our junior auditors and review their work where necessary.
To be considered for this role you must be a motivated, accounting graduate with at least 2-3 years external audit experience and have completed or be part way through the CA program. You will have excellent attention to detail, solid technical and analytical abilities and enjoy working as part of a close knit team. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management and organizational skills and a confident manner with the ability to work autonomously. You will be an inquisitive critical thinker to whom professional skepticism comes naturally.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly CaseWare is essential and experience with Excel advantageous.
As you will be required to travel to various clients a driver’s license and ownership of a car is essential.
