An exciting opportunity has arisen for a recent Graduate to join our busy Audit team. This is a permanent opportunity and will provide a foot in the door into an exciting career in audit.
Working within a small, fast paced team environment you will work with a diverse range of clients both in our office and off-site. Responsibilities will include assisting in the completion of interim and final audits by:
- Identifying and gathering required information
- Assisting in the preparation of all financial statements to review stage
- Carrying out audit testing to help assess clients’ internal controls
You will also be involved in the accounting, audit, tax, tax return and subsequent financial reporting.
Your experience and attributes
The ideal candidate will be a team player with a tertiary qualification in Accounting. You will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and well developed interpersonal skills. To be successful you must have excellent time management and organizational skills and a confident manner with the ability to work autonomously. You will be an inquisitive critical thinker to whom professional skepticism comes naturally.
Experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel is essential and experience with CaseWare advantageous.
As you will be required to travel to various clients a driver’s license and/or ownership of a car is preferred.
