The opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Tax Manager to join our busy Business Services and Management Accounting team. 

You will enjoy a variety of accounting responsibilities with a focus on tax and compliance work, working across a diverse range of domestic and international clients and industries.  Working at a Manager level you will be responsible for the provision of tax advice in respect to international tax planning and structuring, inter-company and cross border transactions and international tax reporting requirements, including Transfer Pricing.  You will be familiar with recent tax law changes and the impact it will have on business.  In addition, you will be familiar with OECD taxation developments.

You will enjoy the opportunity to work on due diligence projects and employment tax projects including payroll obligations for overseas employees and international tax considerations.  You will also be responsible for the management of corporation tax computations and returns including tax provisioning and audit of tax engagements.

Working at a Manager level within a small team, you will be responsible for providing guidance and advice across the business whilst being part of a small close knit team of Managers.

Your experience and attributes

To be considered for this role you must be an Accounting graduate, with at least 5 years experience, ideally working within a chartered accounting firm, preferably in a Business Services environment.  You will be a qualified Chartered Accountant, hold Tax Advisor qualifications and enjoy the advisory component of your role and building relationships with clients.  Furthermore, you will have solid technical and analytical abilities, with a high attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.  You will have a professional approach to work and enjoy interacting with clients and working as part of a small close-knit team.

Experience with MS Office applications, along with a working knowledge of APS and Xero will be considered favorably.
