“I enjoy light-bulb moments when I can see what’s not working in a business.”
Sam was always good with numbers: he even won the inaugural accounting prize at school. Adelaide being Adelaide, his father knew someone, which meant a part-time accounting job at an early age. That was over 30 years ago.
His unique selling point is creating empathy with clients. Regardless of whether Sam has to give clients positive news, or tell them something they don’t want to hear, he knows it’s important to do it the right way. In particular, Sam knows he’s done his job well when clients’ needs and wants have been understood and specific, tailored advice has been given that reflects their personal circumstances and mitigates risks.
The biggest thing that clients get from Sam is financial security. They can be confident that everything has been dealt with due to great problem solving skills and Sam’s ability to delve into the nitty gritty. Clients get a virtual ‘employee’ with Sam, who works within and alongside their team.
In a nutshell:
Approachable, and a safe pair of hands with the details that really matter.
