Glenda is a positive thinker who believes anything is possible. One of the first female partners in Australian accounting practice, Glenda became Sydney’s Managing Partner in 2003. A former Chair of CPAAI’s International Board, she is also an international sailing champion.
Glenda is known for her ability to solve complex tax issues and help clients understand the practical implications of her advice. As she says, “Clients don’t want overly technical explanations, they want to know how it affects their business.”
Glenda’s current focus is on tax minimisation strategies, international tax and transfer pricing. She assists overseas companies to structure themselves correctly from a tax point of view and advises on the tax aspects of their activities in Australia. Glenda also helps Australian companies expand overseas.
Over the years, Glenda’s work has encompassed industries ranging from tourism to retail, and pharmacies to professional partnerships. Very knowledgeable about accounting standards, she also enthusiastically maintains her auditing expertise.
Glenda is a regular speaker and writer on tax topics and a former member of the AICD’s Tax and Economics Committee where she was involved in the Government’s international tax reform agenda.
With many long standing international relationships, most recently in China and India, Glenda keeps abreast of global tax and accounting issues and uses her network to benefit her clients.
