I joined Accru as part of a merger back in November 2006 and have thoroughly enjoyed working here since then. Since joining, I have progressed from a Senior Accountant to a Business Services Manager.
Throughout my time with Accru, I have been presented with numerous opportunities including a three and a half month secondment with an associated firm in Long Island, New York. The time spent in New York was amazing, it was good to experience the culture and be part of ‘tax season’ in a US firm.
Since returning I have also been lucky enough to transfer interstate for two years to work with another firm within the Accru group. So far, it has been great to see how different firms within the group operate and I hope to take away some great experiences from my time here.
What I like most about Accru is how supportive the partners are, they are always open for suggestions and are very much focused on fulfilling your career objectives. My experiences to date have been invaluable and I look forward to further developing my technical and managerial skills with the firm.
