Daniel - Senior Accountant
I joined Accru in 1995 as an undergraduate, working full time while completing my Bachelor of Commerce degree. I graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2000 and was admitted as a Chartered Accountant in 2002. When I got my CA the first thing I felt was relief! The hard work was certainly worth it. Accru paid for the course and provided study leave, additional resources and mentoring which I really appreciated
I am now a Senior Accountant in our Business Services Division and have gained diverse experience in advising small to medium businesses on tax, business structures and financial management. One of the great things about Accru is the wide variety of interesting clients, particularly small businesses, we work closely with.
The staff are great here too, and I find it rewarding that I am now in a position to lead and mentor other team members.
In my spare time I play basketball and spend time with my three young daughters. Fortunately working with Accru gives me the flexibility to balance a career and a young family.
